The 20th Annual Beaufort River Swim and 5K Run offers a swim in the Beaufort River, with the tide in mild to warm, usually mid-70s water. The 5K follows a path to the Woods Memorial swing bridge, which may open. A relay option is available. Proceeds support the YMCA's Learn to Swim program.
