1st ELIZA 2-Hour Charity Run Athens 2026

The 1st Ultra Track 100km Athens is a 100 km ultra race held in the Dionysos area of Athens, taking place overnight from Saturday evening into Sunday morning on a stadium track. It is designed for advanced ultra-distance runners, featuring a 14-hour cutoff and race hours that extend through the night until late morning. The format is straightforward and challenging: runners complete the entire distance on a track, rather than crossing point to point across roads or trails. The event is organized by the International Association of Long Distance “The Immortals,” with support from the Municipality of Dionysos. It operates as a charity race, benefiting ELIZA, the Company Against Child Abuse. The concept originated with Alexandros Tzorvas, a former goalkeeper for Panathinaikos and the Greece national team, while Pavlos Goranitis, an experienced organizer of Greek ultra-distance races, handles the technical direction. A concurrent 2-hour race, the 1ST ELIZA, is also held alongside the main 100 km event.
