Ascona-Locarno Run

The Ascona-Locarno Run is a two-day autumn race weekend held in Locarno, within Switzerland’s Ticino region. Its courses follow the shores of Lake Maggiore. The program offers several options: a Half Marathon, a 10 km race, a 5 km Sunset Run, 10 km Walking and Nordic Walking, and a Kids Run. The event takes place between Ascona and Locarno, utilizing the lakefront and Ticino’s autumn colors. Competitive runners can choose the 10 km or half marathon. Beginners, walkers, Nordic walkers, and families have dedicated options. The 5 km Sunset Run provides a shorter evening race, and the Kids Run includes children. Registration is online only. Organizers offer travel connections through Run & Sleep hotel packages and Run & Relax options at Termali Salini & Spa in Locarno.
