Jarný lesný beh v Michalovej

Jarný lesný beh v Michalovej is a spring forest run held in Michalová, a village in the Brezno district of central Slovakia. The main race begins at 10:00 from Hrable pri Luštiarni, which also functions as the finish area. The adult course covers 9.9 km, consisting of 7.9 km on forest trails and 2 km on asphalt, making it primarily an off-road event with a brief road segment. The event is organized by the Municipality of Michalová and marks its 11th year. It accommodates a wide range of participants beyond adult club runners: men's categories span from age 19 to over 70, women's from age 19 to over 60, and there are distinct races for juniors, younger and older pupils, preschool children, and a “lezúni” category for infants up to 15 months old. This youngest category starts later in the morning, shaping the day into a community sports gathering centered on families as much as the 9.9 km race.
