Javali Night Trail 2026

The 1st Ribas Challenge – Javali Night Trail is a night trail race held on October 3, 2026, in Ribas de Cima, Fanhões, Lisbon district. The event features a single 15 km course consisting of trails and rural paths. It is open to all athletes aged 18 and over, regardless of federation status. The race aims to blend competition with a fun atmosphere. Participants will run through the natural and historical landscapes of Serra de Ribas, with routes that connect to the Cabeço de Montachique Municipal Park and historical military sites. The race is made more challenging by being held at night and operating in a semi-autonomous format, requiring mandatory equipment for participant safety. A recovery meal will be provided at the finish line, followed by an awards ceremony, offering a comprehensive trail running experience.
