Ronde van Stiphout / 31ste Gravelronde

The Ronde van Stiphout is an off-road cycling event held in November, beginning at HAC, Molenven 3 in Helmond, with parking available at the same location. Participants can select from signposted mountain bike routes of 30, 45, or 60 km, and gravel routes of 65 or 85 km, navigated via GPS. The 30, 45, and 65 km routes start between 8:30 and 10:00, while the 85 km route begins earlier, from 8:30 to 9:00. Registration fees are modest, with NTFU members and those who pre-register receiving discounts. The routes traverse Brabant lanes, tracks, and include ascents of the Gulberg, known as the Dak van Brabant. This climb features an average gradient of 10% and a maximum gradient of 13.6%. All routes are downloadable for GPS devices; pre-registered participants receive a link via email the day before, and on-site registrants can use QR codes. A rest stop is provided on the course, and post-ride amenities include showers, bike washing facilities, secure bike storage, and refreshments. The event holds the NTFU “Extra Goed Geregeld” designation, indicating a high standard of organization for a local touring event.
