GO&GO Half Marathon — Maratonina Transfrontaliera 2026

On October 11, 2026, the GO&GO Half Marathon takes place, the cross-border half marathon of Gorizia, heir to the Maratonina Città di Gorizia. The course is 21.0975 km long, running between Gorizia and Nova Gorica, with the start in Corso Verdi. The race is a classic half marathon distance, articulated in a 10.55 km loop to be repeated twice, with approximately 95 meters of positive elevation gain. The start and finish are located in Corso Verdi, at the intersection with Via Garibaldi, in the heart of Gorizia. The route winds through the historic centers and peripheries of Gorizia and Nova Gorica, touching symbolic places of the Isonzo territory and offering runners the unique charm of a race that crosses two states. The event also includes non-competitive formulas for enthusiasts and a non-competitive charity walk in support of the SOS Rosa association, committed to combating gender-based violence.
