Sydney Trail Marathon 2026

The Sydney Trail Marathon 2026 is held in the rugged sandstone area of Bidjigal Reserve, Castle Hill. Participants can run a marathon on Sunday and a half marathon on the following Monday, which is Labour Day. The event takes place in a bushland setting with valleys and a supportive community of trail runners. The 42-km marathon starts at Eric Mobbs Reserve in Castle Hill and goes through Bidjigal Reserve's bushland. The course includes sandstone escarpments, valleys, and forested ridges. The trail surface consists of packed dirt and rocky sections. Aid stations are located along the course. The marathon is a loop course returning to the start/finish line. The finish area will have music and refreshments. Spectators are present at key viewpoints along the course.
