Valdambra Disertore Trail 2026

The Valdambra Disertore Trail begins in Badia Agnano, Tuscany, situated in the Ambra stream's small valley. This ultra-distance event, part of the Valdambra Trail series, takes place in October. It features a 55-kilometer course with approximately 3,000 meters of elevation gain. The overall Valdambra Trail event covers a weekend of trail running, offering routes of various distances suitable for seasoned mountain runners and those seeking a less demanding off-road course. The race location is a few kilometers from Siena, Arezzo, and Florence, nestled between the Chianti hills and the Val di Chiana. The Tuscan Apennines form a backdrop to the north, with the Arno river area to the south. This marks the tenth edition of the series, attracting participants from Italy and internationally. The event also highlights local culture, gastronomy, wellness, and community engagement, extending beyond the running aspect for participants.
