Andersen Run

The Andersen Run is a race weekend in Sestri Levante, on the Ligurian coast, connected to the Andersen Prize week and supported by the local municipality since its inception. It offers runners multiple options: a 22 km trail race with 1250 m of elevation gain, a 10.5 km race named 7 Fairytale Miles, a competitive 21 km half marathon between the bays, and a 5 km Family Run. Both primary routes begin in Mandela Park. The Andersen Trail ascends towards Punta Manara and the Punta Baffe promontory, while 7 Fairytale Miles heads toward Riva Trigoso before returning to Sestri Levante and running alongside the Baia del Silenzio on a temporary boardwalk. The shorter race also includes a non-competitive option, allowing beginners, families, club runners, and experienced trail runners to find a suitable event version.
