The series takes place on Saturday afternoons starting in April. This particular event is scheduled for Green Point, Belmont, requiring club membership and online entry by the Friday night before. The course features rolling terrain within Green Point Foreshore Reserve, incorporating out-and-back segments and loops. Runners should anticipate cold, windy weather. The club categorizes participants from A Grade for the quickest runners down to J Grade for slower runners and walkers; first-timers begin in J. Graded waves start concurrently, allowing individuals to compete against others of similar ability. Available distances are 4K, 6.6K, and 11.2K, aligning with the club’s short, middle, and long run structure.
