TREK Schönleiten 1000

TREK Schönleiten 1000 is a short, steep bike hill race in Aflenz. It begins at the valley station of the Aflenz Bürgeralm lift and concludes at the Schönleitenhaus on the Bürgeralm. The course spans 10 kilometers, ascending 1000 meters, making the entire event a climb from the valley to the mountain. Participants start in the afternoon, with mountain bikes, e-bikes, and gravel bikes permitted. The race accommodates a broad spectrum of participants. Mountain bike classifications are divided by male and female age groups, from school-age through older adult categories. E-bike and gravel bike fields recognize the top three men and women. Entry fees are collected on site; schoolchildren and youth participate without charge. Registration remains open until one hour before the start. All riders receive a starter package with small items from TREK Bruck an der Mur. The day concludes with a raffle for attendees who remain.
