Kysucký maratón

The Kysucký maratón begins and ends at the House of Culture in Čadca, located in Slovakia’s Kysuce region. This June road race features a full marathon, half marathon, three-person marathon relay, 10K, and mini marathon, catering to serious distance runners, local families, and younger participants. The marathon follows a certified 42.195 km asphalt course, and the half marathon is 21.1 km. Race organizers direct the route towards the Slovak Orloj in Stará Bystrica, a notable local landmark connected to the event. Relay teams consist of three runners and can be men’s, women’s, or mixed. Klub Kysuckého maratónu Čadca organizes the race with support from Čadca and the Žilina region. The main marathon is approaching its 50th edition, with the mini marathon, half marathon, relay, and 10K introduced subsequently.
