16th Andanios Race 2026 - 17K

The Andanios Race is a free 17 km road race in Messenia, beginning in Mavromati and concluding in Diavolitsi. It takes place in June with an evening start, organized by the Health Runners Association of Messenia. This is the 16th edition of the race, providing it with local history. The route commences at the Arcadian Gate, proceeding through Neochori, Magoula, Zeuglateio, and Centriko before arriving in Diavolitsi. Runners encounter 7 km of downhill asphalt with approximately 280 m of elevation loss, a brief 1.8 km dirt path, and 8.2 km of flat asphalt crossing villages. Participants assemble in Diavolitsi Square before transport to the start. Aid stations are positioned every 2.5 to 3 km. The top six male and female finishers are awarded cups, and all participants receive a medal.
