Herefoss Rundt 2027

Herefoss Rundt is a road cycling race based near Arendal, with the start and finish at the top of Østenbuveien by Arendal Misjonskirke. The classic ride is about 140 km, while the shorter Trim option is 96 km and skips the master start. Riders choose between groups that match different speeds, from the Trim start through touring groups to the fast Record group, which is aimed at riders averaging around 40 km/h. Entry costs 500 NOK, with parking at Sam Eyde / Sør-Amfi and showers and toilets at Atletica / Sør-Amfi. The race’s most specific sting is its finish: riders climb up Østenbuveien at the end, so the line comes after a hard final effort rather than a flat roll-in. A revised route introduced that uphill finish, moving the race toward a sharper closing section at Arendal Misjonskirke. The field is set up for both fitness riders and faster cyclists, with start waves spaced by expected ride time. After the line, the event has served ACC hamburgers, and sponsor prizes have been part of the post-race setup.
