Greenham Common Half Marathon and 10KM 2026

In 2024, the Greenham Common Half Marathon & 10K event brought the wider running community together for an opportunity to compete on one of the UK's historic sites. The routes follow the original footprint of the Greenham Common Runways and associated areas, with paths that are mainly gravel or grass underfoot. Runners will pass historical landmarks like the Control Tower, Fireplane, and bunkers. The event supports the charity New Life Special Care Babies, dedicated to raising money for special care baby units across the UK. The Half Marathon route involves two laps, allowing spectators to see runners twice. The event took place on Sunday, 25th February 2024, with the 10K starting at 0900 and the Half Marathon at 0910. The start location was The Greenham Common Control Tower, Greenham Common, Newbury RG19 8BZ.
