Capital City Stampede 10K Road Race & 5k Power Walk

The 48th Annual Capital City Stampede runs Vermont's fastest 10k course. This out-and-back route crosses the Vermont State House and uses the Montpelier Bike Path, with a loop through Montpelier High School grounds. It's half paved and half dirt road. Power walkers have an earlier turnaround. This is the New England 65 Runners Club's Vermont State Banner Race, including a New England 65 Runners Club post-race gathering for ages 64 and up. Complimentary refreshments are provided.
