Cusy'Hard

Cusy'Hard is a trail running day based in the village of Cusy in Haute-Savoie, France, with every race starting and finishing in the same small Alpine community. It is usually held in early June and offers trail distances of 7 km, 13 km, and 23 km, plus 9 km and 11 km walking or sportive hiking routes and separate courses for children and juniors. The setting puts runners between the Massif des Bauges, Lake Bourget, and Lake Annecy, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The longer options are properly hilly: the 23 km trail climbs about 900 m, the 13 km route climbs about 700 m, and even the walks include 250 m to 400 m of elevation gain.
