Rob's Trail Fest 2026

Rob's Trail Fest offers a marathon, 15K, and 5K trail races near Canadice and Hemlock Lakes in Hemlock, New York. The courses utilize local trailheads, gravel roads, and paths around Canadice Lake and Robs Nature Preserve, providing runners with a varied terrain of single track, gravel, mud, and short paved sections, distinct from a typical road race. The marathon presents the most challenging route, featuring two technical climbs of approximately 800 feet each. Its surface composition is about half single track, 40% gravel, and 10% pavement. The 15K is an out-and-back course on gravel roads, including muddy sections. The 5K runs point-to-point from Robs Nature Preserve to the southern end of Canadice Lake, with a notable half-mile downhill at a 17% grade. Proceeds benefit trail maintenance on Robs Trail and may support other local DEC projects. Course adjustments are possible based on trail conditions.
