Foulées de Voreppe

Foulées de Voreppe is a small race day in Voreppe, Isère, near the Chartreuse massif. Typically held in early June, it offers runners a choice between short road races, hillier trail options, and a Nordic walk. The road distances are 3 km, 5 km, and 10 km. The trail side includes a 7.5 km course with approximately 300 metres of climbing and a longer route of about 20 km with over 1,100 metres of elevation gain. The courses utilize local roads and the trails surrounding Voreppe, featuring forest, mountain, and altitude sections for the off-road races. The longer trail presents the most challenge, while the 3 km and 5 km races accommodate newer runners or younger participants. Field sizes are modest; the 10 km road race draws the largest group in available results, with the trail races attracting smaller numbers. The program also features a 7.5 km Nordic walk, and the event publishes an eco-responsible charter.
