2026 Carolina Reaper's Revenge

Carolina Reaper's Revenge is a gravel race in McCormick, South Carolina, held in October as the final stop of the SEG Series. The event is hosted at the SC Governor's School and includes a full race weekend, with free primitive camping on Friday and Saturday nights for tents and RVs. Campers do not get electrical or water hookups, but portable toilets are on site, offering a simple race camp atmosphere. The course combines smooth gravel, rougher chunky gravel, singletrack, and a river crossing, making bike choice important. Riders finish with a hot meal and a cold beer, and the weekend concludes with a Saturday night end-of-season party featuring food and music. As the SEG season finale, it also determines overall series podiums and prizes. Teams compete with their best six finishers counting toward the team total, points from Age Group and Elite results, and Short and Long Course scores feeding one overall leaderboard, with the top three teams receiving podium recognition.
