5K for Peace 2026

The 5K for Peace begins and ends at Daffin Park in Savannah, Georgia, with participants running and walking through the historic downtown squares. This is a community 5K, not exclusively for elite athletes, and it includes a 1 Mile Family Loop starting and finishing at Daffin Park Lake. The 5K commences at 9:00 AM, with the family loop following at 9:20 AM, structuring the morning for both regular runners and those seeking a shorter, more accessible option. The race benefits Rooted Ummah, a Savannah nonprofit providing meals, supplies, and day center services to unhoused neighbors, refugees, immigrants, and displaced communities. Registration provides a bib, a commemorative gift, a pledge card, a digital finish photo, and access to the post-race gathering.
