Popular McCain Yorkshire Coast races return as entries open for 2026 event

The McCain Yorkshire Coast races draw thousands of runners to Scarborough each October for a 10K, 5K, and Fun Run. The event is designed for a wide range of participants, with races open to all ages and abilities, not exclusively club runners or elite athletes. The 10K begins and ends at Scarborough SPA, tracing the coast around South Bay, passing the harbour, rounding the headland, and entering North Bay. Participants will also run through the Open-Air Theatre before returning to the SPA. The races are part of the Run For All charity portfolio, with entries contributing to fundraising and sustainability efforts. McCain GB also has a long-standing local connection: Scarborough has been the company's home for over 50 years.
