ARMY RUN: Úplně jiný závod! 2026

ARMY RUN is an extreme obstacle race in the Czech Republic, set on actual military terrain, including sections of the Boletice military area usually off-limits to the public. Participants can select either the 10 km Civil route or the 16 km Army route. Both routes feature challenging obstacles conceived by former professional soldiers of the Army of the Czech Republic. The event receives backing from Czech defense and interior ministries, with its name stemming from collaboration with the Czech army. The inaugural Czech event took place near Černá v Pošumaví, and the series expanded from a single race to four. Certain courses incorporate original army obstacle layouts, such as the Bojovník course in Vyškov. The concept originated when a founder's friend encountered similar races internationally and introduced the idea for Czech runners seeking a more rigorous challenge than standard road races. The event attracts military enthusiasts, fans of unconventional sports, families, club runners, and novices, with a portion of the proceeds donated to charity.
