STL CURE SARCOMA 6K RUN/WALK

The STL Cure Sarcoma 6K Run/Walk is an annual 6K run and walk held in Maryland Heights, Missouri, focused on raising funds for sarcoma cancer research. This event originated from individuals impacted by sarcoma, including patients, survivors, families undergoing treatment, and those who have lost loved ones to the disease. The course covers 6 kilometers, accommodating both runners and walkers. The event's core identity stems from its participants and the allocation of funds. It was established with assistance from oncologist Brian Van Tine, M.D., Ph.D., with half of the proceeds directed to his research lab at Washington University in St. Louis. Additional funds support sarcoma research nationally via the Sarcoma Foundation of America.
