Burke Day For Life 5K and Fun Run

The Burke Day For Life 5K and Fun Run begins and ends at Burkemont Baptist Church. The 5K starts at 9:00 a.m. This event includes both a 5K and a one-mile fun run/walk, organized by the Pregnancy Care Center of Burke County to launch Burke Day For Life. The course winds through the countryside near the base of Burkemont Mountain in the North Carolina Foothills. The race is part of a larger community day featuring family activities, music, and food, intended for walkers, runners, and families, not exclusively competitive racers.
