Walk for Water 5K Los Angeles 2026

The Walk for Water 5K Los Angeles is a charity 5K held in Griffith Park, starting at 4800 Crystal Springs Drive. Co-organized by Pathway To Tomorrow and Drop of Water, it aims to raise awareness of the global water crisis. Walkers can support clean-water projects by completing a short, accessible distance. The route follows the Main Trail around the golf course perimeter on a flat, shaded path. Participants are encouraged to walk 7,000 steps, symbolizing the daily distance many women and girls in Africa travel to collect water. Funds raised will support deep wells and rural pipeline systems in Ethiopian villages, with the aim of providing clean, safe drinking water to up to 16,000 people.
