Disaster Dash 5K Run/ Walk

The Disaster Dash 5K Run/Walk begins and ends at Seville Square in Pensacola, Florida, starting at 7:00 AM near the start of hurricane season. This 3.1-mile course is a flat loop through historic downtown Pensacola, organized by BRACE to encourage preparedness for disasters before, during, and after they occur. The route accommodates strollers, and registered service animals are permitted. Participants can include families, walkers, runners aiming for a fast 5K, and individuals primarily supporting the cause. Following the race, BRACE will hold a free family-friendly afterparty featuring a live DJ, sponsor tables, and preparedness resources. Race entry provides a packet with sponsor items and a limited-edition Disaster Dash shirt. Proceeds benefit long-term disaster recovery efforts, Escambia CERT, Pensacola Fire Corps, Escambia Teen CERT, and local educational initiatives focused on disaster resilience.
