Cedar City Uphill Ultra 2026

Cedar City Uphill Ultra is an uphill trail ultra in southern Utah, run in October on the “C” trail above Cedar City. The format is simple and tough: runners repeat the same dirt-and-singletrack loop three times, staying entirely off pavement while working between about 6,000 and 8,200 feet of elevation. The race starts in sagebrush around 6,000 feet and climbs toward higher ground where fir and aspen appear. Across the full course, runners gain about 7,500 feet, so the repeated laps are less about variety and more about handling the same climb again and again. This is the race’s inaugural edition, and the entry package includes a hand-stamped T-shirt and a sticker.
