Hore Lótom Dole Lótom

Hore Lótom Dole Lótom is a small race day held at the sports area in Veľké Lovce, a village in the Nové Zámky district of Slovakia. The main races are 10 km and 5 km. The 10 km race begins in the late afternoon, with the 5 km following shortly after. Children compete earlier in the day, structuring the program around school-age runners and adults. The course combines asphalt and dirt roads, offering more variety than a standard road loop. Children's categories range from preschoolers to school-age boys and girls. Adult men and women are divided into under-39, 40-49, and 50-plus age groups. School races are free, and the adult field is limited to 250 participants. The Hore Lótom Dole Lótom civic association organizes the event. Now in its second edition, it retains the feel of a local community gathering rather than a large, established race.
