LYNX Fuzileiros is a team-only obstacle race held at the Escola Prática dos Fuzileiros in Vale de Zebro, Barreiro, Portugal. Six athletes compete as a unit over more than 7 kilometers, facing over 40 obstacles designed to test strength, agility, balance, precision, suspension, barriers, water crossings, and swimming. Male, female, and mixed categories are available; individual entries are not permitted.
The location is integral to the event: the race utilizes a military training environment, requiring teams to navigate physical challenges rather than just running from start to finish. Each team shares a single electronic timing chip, scanned mid-course and at the finish line, with all six members required to complete the race together. Starts are staggered, with two teams beginning every three minutes. All participants receive participation medals, while the top three teams in each category are awarded podium medals and trophies.
