The Medical University Run in Wrocław is a 10 km road race connected to the city’s medical university community, held in autumn. It ranks among Lower Silesia’s larger running events, emphasizing health: organizers promote physical activity as a practical response to lifestyle diseases, while ensuring the day is social and accessible. The course begins at the Medical Simulation Center on Chałubińskiego Street, crosses Szczytnicki Bridge, proceeds towards the Olympic Stadium, and circles Zalesie on a route certified by the Polish Athletics Association. Experienced runners, younger participants, and the “wskersi” — children with disabilities running with guardians — start together. The race commenced in 2015, with one edition canceled because of the pandemic, and is organized by the Biegaj dla Zdrowia Foundation.
