BRM300 Oostvaardersplassen is a 300 km MTB touring brevet originating near Enschede in Overijssel, starting in Boekelo. The ride follows a Dutch concept: crossing Twente farmland, river country, forests, hills, polder, and flower-field flats within a single long day. The route proceeds west from Boekelo through Twente’s cultural landscape. Near Deventer, it transitions to rivers, dikes, and floodplains. Past Vaassen, fields yield to forest, with undulating terrain breaking up the largely flat course. Harderwijk introduces riders to the polder, followed by long, straight sections alongside flower fields. The significant off-road portion and 300 km length position this as an endurance route for mountain bikers, distinct from shorter local tours.
