Trail de la Baie du Kernic 2026

The Trail de la Baie du Kernic is an autumn trail-running event held in Plouescat, Finistère, on Brittany's north coast. The longest race covers 65 km, beginning in Sibiril and concluding at the Plouescat sports hall. Shorter races of approximately 25 km, 15 km, and 9 km are also offered. All routes are chip-timed, with elevation gains ranging from about 150 meters for the 9 km course to 1,200 meters for the 65 km course. The 65 km route includes technical forest trails near Kerzéan and coastal paths along the Baie du Kernic, offering runners both wooded and seaside sections. Aid stations are available, with four on the ultra course and fewer on the shorter races, though participants are advised to carry their own supplies. Team Trail Couleur Ambiance organizes the event. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each race, and one euro from each registration supports Rose et Or's cancer research.
