Les Blanquefortaises 2026

Les Blanquefortaises is a forest race in Blanquefort, Gironde, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France, featuring trail running and walking. Taking place in early October, it provides four distances: 4.5 km, 7.5 km, 12 km, and 20 km, suitable for both beginners and experienced runners. The 4.5 km event is the Petite Tanaïssienne, and the 20 km is the Grande Tanaïssienne. Walkers have a dedicated 7.5 km event. The course winds through a natural forest, avoiding city streets. Its slogan, “Être fort pour ce Fort !”, is a play on the town's name, Blanquefort. Bordeaux is under an hour away, and the surrounding Gironde region offers proximity to vineyards and the Atlantic coast post-race.
