Historic Trail 2026

The Historic Trail begins and ends at the base of the castle in Calafell, a town in Baix Penedès on the Costa Daurada. This mountain trail event offers three distances: an 18-kilometer race for experienced runners, a 12-kilometer race, and a 10-kilometer walk. The course crosses paths by historical sites like Cova Foradada and Montpaó, with vistas toward the Costa Daurada coast. Volunteers incorporate historical reenactments, giving the race a local heritage focus beyond a typical trail run. The event holds the Green Footprint seal, utilizing biodegradable markers, foregoing single-use plastic cups and plates, and supplying aid stations with local zero-kilometer products.
