Saalfelder Bambini-Schloßparklauf

The Saalfelder Bambini-Schloßparklauf is a children’s race held in Saalfeld’s Schlosspark, organized by Saalfeld Athletics Club. It is designed for very young runners, with separate starts for children aged approximately three to nine years old. The first race begins shortly after 17:00. There is no entry fee, and registration is available online via the club’s website, at the start line, or by phone. The course is intentionally short: one lap measures about 380 meters, and older children complete two laps for approximately 760 meters. The youngest participants run together, while later races are divided by age and sometimes by gender. The award ceremony takes place about ten minutes after the final race, ensuring the event remains concise and manageable for families.
