5. DieSPECKer LaufSPECKtakel 51km 2026

The DieSPECKer LaufSPECKtakel brings ultrarunning to the Aischgrund, a countryside area in Franconia. The routes run through forest and meadows, not city streets. The series offers three longer distances: 27 km, 51 km, and 72 km. Shorter 6 km and 12 km routes are available for beginners or those seeking a less demanding day. The 51 km race is in the tougher half of the program. Compared with the mostly paved 27 km route, it includes steeper climbs and more challenging single-track trails. The event is designed as a small, friendly alternative to large city marathons, featuring quiet forest sections and well-supplied aid stations to support runners.
