41ª Maratona de Porto Alegre 2026

The Porto Alegre Marathon takes place on a weekend in late May, headquartered at BarraShoppingSul, located at Av. Diário de Notícias, 300. The event features a full marathon, half marathon, the Gaucho Challenge, and separate 5 km and 10 km races. Participant numbers are limited to 30,000 runners. The race is designed to accommodate a broad range of participants, not exclusively elite athletes. Seniors and athletes with disabilities receive a 50% discount on registration fees, subject to verification of documentation during sign-up and kit collection. An elite field is also present, requiring qualifying times such as 2:24 for men and 2:57 for women in the marathon.
