2026 UWSP Homecoming 5k Run/Walk

The UWSP Homecoming 5K is hosted by the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Doctor of Physical Therapy Students, in partnership with the UWSP Homecoming Committee. The event takes place in Schmeeckle Reserve, Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Participants can run the 5K competitively or walk. Proceeds support student professional development and service opportunities. The event is part of UWSP Homecoming Week, welcoming students, alumni, family, faculty, and community members. Post-race activities include visiting sponsor tables at the start/finish line, participating in Homecoming festivities, and cheering on the UWSP Football Team at Goerke Field for their game against UW-Stout at 1:00pm. Donations are accepted online and at the event. There is a no-refund policy in case of race cancellation. The race starts and finishes at the Parkway Shelter in Schmeeckle Reserve. Dogs are not permitted in Schmeeckle Reserve. The event itinerary for Saturday, October 10th, 2026, is: Registration Booth Opens & Social: 8:00am, National Anthem & Race Start: 9:00am, Social: As participants finish, Race & Social Ends: 10:30am. Participants registered before 11:59pm CST on Friday, September 18th, 2026, will receive a free shirt upon check-in prior to the race on October 10th, 2026. Shirt size should be included during registration. Shirts will be available for purchase for participants and volunteers at the event for $20.00, with limited quantities.
