Mighty Morley 10K

The Mighty Morley 10K is a 10-kilometre race on closed roads through Morley, West Yorkshire. Organized by Morley Running Club with Morley Town Council, it is a volunteer-led, not-for-profit event supporting local good causes. Sustainability is a focus, seen in the virtual goody bag and eco-friendly finisher medal. The event welcomes a wide range of participants, including serious racers, wheelchair racers, first-timers, veterans, and runners in fancy dress. The route begins on Wide Lane, ascends into town via Middleton Road, descends Queen Street past the Town Hall, and reaches Morley Bottoms. It then turns through Brunswick, Victoria Road, and Asquith Avenue. The course features two out-and-back sections and a three-way crossover at Morley Bottoms, providing a local landmark and course interest. While the route includes some slopes, runners receive water stations, chip timing, strong local support, sweets and treats at the finish, and post-race food offers, with prizes for leading finishers.
