Trail des bezous d'Châtaignes à Avessac

The Trail des Bezous d'Châtaignes begins and ends in the courtyard of Château du Pordor in Avessac, Loire-Atlantique, with the race village located within the castle grounds. This October event features afternoon starts and chip timing by TimePulse, offering three adult distances: 26 km, 16 km, and a shorter route of 8 or 9 km. Bib pickup is available on-site from early afternoon, and two free children's races are also part of the program. The long course follows paths and undergrowth, crossing two private properties and offering views of three châteaux, with three aid stations. The 16 km route covers a similar mix of woods and tracks, including two aid stations, while the shortest race remains in the undergrowth and is described as accessible for all, with one aid station. Organized by Certain Damien and the Bezous d'Châtaignes team, this event has over fifteen editions and is listed on the Pays de la Loire running calendar. Prizes are awarded to the top three men and women in each race, the most represented club receives an award, and food and drinks will be available on-site.
