Les Foulées de l'Isle begins and ends on the town hall square in L'Isle-Jourdain, Gers, Occitanie. This is a road race held in early June, timed to help runners avoid the peak heat. The event has taken place annually since 2015 and features three city routes: 5 km, a 7.5 km women's race named Girl'Isle, and a 10 km Big'Isle that can also be completed as a team. Children’s and junior races are also available, catering to various age groups.
The courses are entirely within the town and noted for their speed, with spectators lining the streets and music and performances near the start and finish areas. Before the races, participants have a musical warm-up. Afterward, facilities include changing rooms, physiotherapy, and a meal featuring regional specialties like cassoulet, confit, and foie gras. The overall setup fosters a local festival atmosphere, with short road races, town-center crowds, music, and a Gers-style post-race meal instead of a simple exit.
