MARATHON MÜNCHEN by Brooks

The MARATHON MÜNCHEN by Brooks begins and ends in Munich’s Olympiapark. The marathon starts on Spiridon-Louis-Ring and finishes at Willi-Daume-Platz. This 42.195 km city marathon takes place in October and is Munich’s official and sole marathon. The race weekend includes a half marathon, marathon relay, 10 km run, Kids Run, and a Friendship Run by Brooks x parkrun. The single-lap marathon route departs the Olympic Park for central Munich, passing Sendlinger Tor, Marienplatz, Siegestor, Odeonsplatz, and the Englischer Garten. It also crosses the Werksviertel, where live acts, street food, and large crowds line the course. The event is designed for ambitious runners, recreational athletes, and international participants, and it is a full member of AIMS.
