Every Life Remembered Walk 2026

The Every Life Remembered Walk is a 5K walk/run held at McFadden Plaza on West 3rd Street in Carson City. Check-in begins in the morning, with the walk/run starting an hour later. The event focuses on love and remembrance, with fundraising efforts directed towards ending Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. This is a community event open to all, not just competitive runners. Participants may run or walk the 5K. Afterward, attendees can enjoy live music, raffle prizes, and a costume contest. Participants are encouraged to wear purple creatively. The cause resonates deeply with many families, as one in three seniors die with Alzheimer's or another dementia. Alzheimer's claims more lives than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined.
