A Snail's Pace x Saucony Sunset Relays 2026

The A Snail's Pace x Saucony Sunset Relays is an evening track relay meet held at Saddleback High School in Santa Ana, California. The entire program consists of relays: 4x100m, 4x200m, 4x400m, 4x800m, 4x1600m, and a distance medley relay. It is open to all ability levels, allowing teams to compete for a fast time, race with friends, or practice relay exchanges under stadium lights. Each event is designed for teams of four. Distances range from the one-lap 4x100m, where each runner completes 100 meters, to the distance medley, which combines 1200m, 400m, 800m, and 1600m legs. The 4x400m receives the most attention with five heats, while the 4x800m has two heats and the distance medley has three. Heats are seeded by expected finish time, and teams must check in with the clerk of the course at least 45 minutes before their heat. The evening also features music, food, post-race meal tickets from Birreria y Tacos Dona Betty, finisher medals, awards for heat winners, and Saucony Endorphin demo shoes for participants to try.
