Bajtel NA KOLE 2026

BAJTEL na KOLE puts children on bikes at the Ośrodek in Kamień in Rybnik-Kamień, on ul. Hotelowa 28. This is a spring recreational bike event for kids, focused on completing a marked route rather than racing for places. Boys and girls ride in age groups from preschoolers up to ten-year-olds, and licensed competitors are excluded to keep the field amateur. The youngest groups ride about 300 m, while older children ride about 850 m, with starts run sequentially and adjusted on the day if needed. Parents bring children who are learning that pedaling can be fun, including first-timers who may care more about reaching the finish than going fast. Every child who starts and finishes receives a medal at the line, and small surprises are handed out during the award ceremony. The format turns children's bike races into a shared adventure instead of a contest.
