Basingstoke Half Marathon, 10K & 5K

The Basingstoke Half Marathon, 10K & 5K is a road race series in Hampshire, starting next to the Crossborough Hill car park. Participants can select the 13.1-mile half marathon, a 10K, a 5K, or a 1-mile children's race, with age groups for 5-10 and 11-15. Roads are closed to traffic, making the event suitable for adults seeking a challenging run and families participating in the shorter distances. The half marathon presents the most difficult route, featuring inclines near Cliddesden and Farleigh Wallop that add challenge compared to a flat course. The 10K follows an out-and-back path; the initial 5km ascends gradually, followed by a downhill finish over the final 5km. The 5K shares the initial direction of the longer races before a turnaround on Farleigh Road and a return to the finish.
