SLO CAL Spartan Super 10K

The SLO CAL Spartan Super 10K at Santa Margarita Ranch in San Luis Obispo County takes runners through California wine country during a November race weekend. This Spartan obstacle-course race covers 10K of trail running with 25 obstacles, positioned between the shorter Sprint and the longer Beast and Ultra distances. The event also includes the 5K Sprint, 21K Beast, 50K Ultra, and Spartan Trail races. The course crosses rugged trails near the Los Padres National Forest, featuring grapevine rows, open valleys, steep inclines, technical terrain, and natural elements. Participants will navigate obstacles, carry heavy objects, and require both running endurance and upper-body strength. The event draws thousands, with organizers anticipating up to 6,000 participants, including visitors from outside the area and individuals returning from Cal Poly.
