The Long Branch Ocean Mile Swim follows a rectangular course, starting and finishing in Pier Village. Ocean temperatures are typically in the high 60s/low-70s. Custom awards go to top overall and age group finishers; wetsuit wearers are not eligible. Brian Shea directs the event.
